I will admit right off the bat that I had been dreading the two "puddle-jumper" flights we had had to book in order to save precious hours required to drive or water-taxi to our two big destinations--Ambergris Caye "San Pedro" and Chan Chich Lodge in far-western Belizean jungle. However, once the landing gear stopped spinning as we smoothly became airborn, dread transformed into elation so quickly and the panic I had anticipated just evaporated in an instant. The clip above is our descent and landing in Ambergris Caye, the most invigorating arrival EVER!
